Winter Safety Tips

Winter can be especially hard on animals. Dropping temperatures and windchill can threaten a pets life. If possible, move your pet indoors. If your pet must remain outdoors, make sure they have a dry, draft free doghouse with plenty of bedding. Animals need more food during the cold months because keeping warm depletes energy. Routinely check your animals water to make sure its fresh and not frozen. Always use a plastic bowls. Your pets tongue can stick and freeze to metal.
